Ss say and act out the chant together.課前欣賞歌曲營造英語學習的氛圍,幫助學生更快的投入學習。
通過手勢讓學生更好的明白句子的意思。通過吟唱使師生間的氣氛更融洽,又活躍了課堂氣氛,讓學生了解今天的學習內(nèi)容與形容詞有關。
二、Revision
Game 1 Magic Eyes. (PPT)
Words: foolish, bull, horn, kill, rubbed, idea, soft, hard, expensive, cheap, ugly.
(課件設計說明:配合鼓點音效,屏幕上勻速閃現(xiàn)學生在前面課時中學過的單詞。)
1. T: Today we’ll finish Unit 7. And we’ll have a competition between groups. You ‘re Group 1, you’re Group 2, 3, 4…6. Let’s see which group will be the winner,OK?

Ss play the game and read the words together.
上課初提出學習要求和獎勵辦法,能讓學生對學習充滿積極性和競爭感,從而主動地學習。
復習舊知,為接下來復述課文做準備。
這一過程不但可以很好地考查學生認讀單詞的情況,還可以幫助部分學習困難的學生復習形容詞以及它們對應的反義詞。
Game 2 Quick Response (cards)
Words: long-short, old- new, hot-cold, expensive-cheap, big-small, heavy- light, tall-short, old-young, black- white, hard-soft.

5. T puts some cards on the blackboard.
6. T asks some Ss to put the opposite cards on the blackboard.
Ss say the opposite word.
Eg: Ss say “short”。
S1 reads the word, others say the opposite word.
Ss read the word, S1 say the opposite word.
Some Ss put the opposite cards on the blackboard.
學生在單詞比拼的過程中各有收獲,特別是記不住單詞的學生也敢于大聲和別人一起讀單詞。這樣,接下來的學習中他們就有詞可用了,就能大膽地運用形容詞描述事物了。
