　　1. Review the conversation, Target and vocabulary learned before.

　　2. Master the sounds of the words.

　　3. Remember the new words by a chant.

　　The key:

　　Enable the Ss to remember the sounds of the words.

　　The difficulty points:

　　Master how to pronounce the sounds.

　　The teaching aid: Tape recorder picture cards.

　　Teaching procedure:

　　Step1. organization

　　1. Greeting

　　2.play a guessing game.

　　Ask some Ss come to the blackboard and act some action according to the picture cards.

　　The rest Ss guess by “she is happy/sad.....”

　　Step2. Revision

　　Ask some Ss to act the conversation.

　　Step3. sounds and words

　　Write the word mother on the board.

　　T: what’s this word? [Ss: It’s（mother）]

　　T: Do you remember the sound / /? Today’s sound is similar.

　　Look at my mouth .It looks the same.

　　（point to your mouth） .

　　T: Let’s praotice the sound / /.Look at my mouth and repeat （model putting your tongue against your front teeth and making the sound.

　　T:/ / [Ss:/ /] .

　　If necessary have Ss place their fingers on their throats to distinguish / / and / /

　�。�/ /-Ss feel the vibration of the vocal cords: / /Ss don’t feel it） .
