　　掌握過去進行時態(tài)時間含義。

　　教學(xué)過程：

　　The First Period

　　Step One Review.

　　1. Place Picture Cards 9—16（ from SB 4 Unit 2） on the board. For example: exercising, working, shouting, thinking etc. Ask Ss What are they doing? [Ss: He‘s exercising. She‘s shouting.]

　　2. Take picture cards off the board, ask one student to come up and pick one of the cards. Tell him/ her to act out what is on the card. T: What‘s he/ she doing? [Ss: （S1‘s name） is thinking.]

　　Step Two. Presentation

　　Have Ss look at the pictures on the page. T? Point to the first and second picture.） Who‘s this ? [ Ss: It‘s Gogo, Jenny, Ben and Lisa.] T: （ Point to the second picture.） What are they doing? [Ss: They are talking.] T: Look at the third picture . Ben is digging. Let‘s dig. Model digging. T: I‘m digging. Repeat. [Ss: I‘m digging.] T: OK,everyone. Sit down. Step
