  Step1. Warm up and revision.

  1.Sing a song about to review the verbs.

  T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today?

  Ss: I’m fine, thanks. And you?

  T: I’m very happy. Because today we’re going to Gogo Amusement Park. Do you want to go?

  Ss: Yes.

  T: Me, too. But you must get the ticket. So let’s have a match between four teams. If you answer my question well, you can get one chocolate coin. Then put it in your team box. Team1, Team 2, Team 3 and Team 4. Which team gets the most coins, you can buy the ticket and go to Gogo Amusement Park. Let’s try our best! First, let’s sing a song about Gogo. Then answer me: What can Gogo do?(He can read, paint, sing, swim and eat.)

  [Designing purpose:To encourage Ss to get the ticket to Gogo Amusement Park can give a competition surrounding to Ss.The song can take Ss to the class situation in the shortest time.While letting them find the verbs can get ready for the present participles learning.]

  2.Read the verbs together.

  T: Do you know, what can Gogo do?

  S1:He can swim.

  S2:He can sing.

  S3:He can eat.

  S4:He can read.

  T: Yes. Gogo can do many things. He can read(paint, swim, sing, eat)

  Step2 Presentation

  1.Show Gogo cartoon to teach “sleeping”。
