4 Model tracing your finger from the word red to the illustrated apples and then onto the word apples.
5 Have Ss complete this activity.
6 Circulate around the classroom to check for accuracy
Step 4
1 Bring in two cups, show them and say CUPS. Drag out the final sound[s] so Ss hear the ending clearly.
2 Have Ss look at the pictures, then let’s listen to the tape.
3 Play the tape and have Ss point to each word.
4 Read, Listen, Repeat. Read one by one.
Step 5
1 Listen to the chant and point to the pictures.
2 Chant after the tape. And chant together.
3 finish the workbook
Homework: sing the song for your parent.
