三只小豬學(xué)英語第59集：三只小豬希望小學(xué)

　　One morning a little girl comes into Three Little Pigs Restaurant.  A waitress says to her: "Sit Down, please!"   "Thank you. I wish to talk with your manager. May I see your manager? "

　　一天早上， 一個(gè)小女孩進(jìn)了三只小豬飯館。一位服務(wù)員說請(qǐng)坐。小女孩說謝謝，我想見你們經(jīng)理，我能見你么經(jīng)理么？

　　 "Yes, of course. Please wait."The waitress goes into manager's office. After one minute, Mummy Pig comes out. She says to the little girl: "You want to see me, right?" "Yes" "What can I do for you?" "DO you need a girl to work for you in this restaurant." "Yes, I do." "Can I work for you?" "You? You are so young! How can you work here?" "I am old enough to work." "How old are you?" "Eighteen." "Eighteen? May I have a look at your ID card?" "Sorry, I don't have an ID card." "If you are eighteen, you should have and ID card. If you don't, you are not eighteen. You look 11 or 12, You are too young to work.  You should go to school. "

　　 服務(wù)員說可以請(qǐng)稍等，然后就進(jìn)了經(jīng)理的辦公室。一分鐘后，豬媽媽出來了，對(duì)小姑娘說：“你想見我嗎”小姑娘說是的。豬媽媽說我能為你做什么呢。小姑娘說，你么參觀需要一個(gè)女孩來干活嗎，豬媽媽說是的。小女孩問她可不可以在飯館里干活，豬媽媽說她年紀(jì)太小了，怎么能在這里干活呢。小姑娘說她勾搭了。豬媽媽就問，那你多大了呀，小姑娘說十八歲。豬媽媽就說要看她得身份證。小姑娘只得說對(duì)不起呀，我沒有身份證。豬媽媽說如果你是十八歲，你就有身份證了，如果你沒有，就證明你沒有身份證。你看起來只有十一二歲，還太小，沒法工作，你應(yīng)該去上學(xué)。

　　 The little girl starts to cry, "Why do you cry?" "Oh, please, please give me a job! I come from the countryside. I have to go out to work, because my father and mother are very poor. They have no money to pay for my study at school. My teachers stop teaching, because the school has no money to pay them. So, many of my classmates go out to work. I want to work too. Please give me a job. " "Don't cry little girl, I will find a way to help you, but I cannot give you a job. If I give you a job,那可是違法的呀。" "But many of my classmates are working in restaurants in this city. Why can't I work? " "You must understand,雇傭童工是違法的，這樣吧，you can eat and live in my restaurant, I will call my sons. They will tell how to help you." "Thank you"

　　 小姑娘就哭起來了，豬媽媽說，你哭啥呀。小姑娘懇求道，求求你給我一份工作吧，我是從農(nóng)村來的，我們家太窮了，我一定要去工作，因?yàn)榘职謰寢寷]有錢供我上學(xué)。我們老師都停課了，因?yàn)閷W(xué)校沒有錢發(fā)工資。所以我們班很多同學(xué)都出來工作了，我也想工作，請(qǐng)給我份工作吧。豬媽媽說“小姑娘別哭，我會(huì)想到辦法幫你的，但是不是給你工作，如果我給你工作，我就違法了。”小姑娘道“可是我的很多同學(xué)都在這個(gè)城市的餐廳打工呀，為什么我就不能工作呢？”豬媽媽說“你要知道，服用童工是違法的，這樣吧，你這幾天可以吃、住在我的餐廳，我會(huì)的按電話給我兒子，他們會(huì)想到辦法幫助你的。”小姑娘說了謝謝。

　　 Mommy Pig goes into her office and calls her first son, "Hi, my dear son. I hear many children from the countryside are working in restaurant in this city. That is 違法的呀，You know. But the children's fathers and mothers are very poor. The children cannot go to school. Can you tell me how to help the children? " "What? Call Mr. Black Cat?" "Yes, good idea, Thank you, bye."

　　 豬媽媽給他的第一個(gè)兒子打了電話：“兒子，你好，我聽說在這個(gè)城市有很多雇傭童工的現(xiàn)象，他們的父母都很窮，沒有錢給她們上學(xué)。你給我建議下我該怎么做啊”她兒子說“什么，給黑貓先生打電話吧”“詩歌好主意，謝謝，拜拜”

　　 So Mummy Pig calls Mr. Black Cat. Mr Black Cat is working in his office. When he hears the telephone叮鈴鈴地響，他趕緊拿起telephone. "Hello? Oh,hi, Mummy Pig! What can I do for you? What? Many children are working in restaurants? That is違法的呀。 Ok I will call many police officer to go to every restaurant. Thank you for calling. Bye"

　　 于是，豬媽媽給黑貓先生打了電話，黑貓先生那時(shí)正在辦公室辦公，當(dāng)他聽到電話鈴響，他趕緊拿起電話。“你好，豬媽媽，我能為你做什么，什么，很多孩子在餐館當(dāng)童工，那是違法的呀。我知道了，我會(huì)讓警察去所有餐館檢查的，謝謝”

　　

　　 So, Mr. Black Cat and many police officers go to every restaurant to檢查是否有童工。They find 55 children working in restaurants. 這件事引起來Education TV的注意，Education TV的主持人邀請(qǐng)Mummy Pig and Mr. Black Cat作 “Help and Love”節(jié)目的特邀嘉賓。請(qǐng)他們談一談how to help these children to go back to school, Mummy Pig says:" I think the best way to help these poor children is to 建幾所Hope Schools, " My three sons will be very happy to give money to the countryside to建一所Hope School, They can call the school Three Little Pig Hope School. Three Little Pig Hope School can pay teachers to teach these children and it can also buy books, school bags and clothes for the children. Mr. Black Cat says:" I think the best way for Education TV to help these poor children, 就是讓電視臺(tái)向全社會(huì)呼吁，讓companies, restaurants, schools, colleges and universities共同關(guān)心和支持Hope Schools"

　　 于是，黑貓先生和警官們一起去每家餐館檢查是否有童工。他們找到了55個(gè)童工，這件事引起了當(dāng)?shù)亟逃�電視臺(tái)的關(guān)注，電視臺(tái)邀請(qǐng)豬媽媽和黑貓先生去作希望和愛節(jié)目的嘉賓。請(qǐng)他們談一談如何幫助那些孩子返回學(xué)校。豬媽媽建議說，我認(rèn)為最好的方法就是建幾所希望學(xué)校，我的三個(gè)兒子會(huì)非常愿意捐錢建一所希望小學(xué)�？梢苑Q為三只小豬希望小學(xué)，三只小豬希望學(xué)�？梢越o老師發(fā)工資，買書本和書包，并且給孩子們買衣服。黑貓先生說我想最好的方法就是教育電視臺(tái)呼吁全社會(huì)關(guān)注孩子，讓公司、餐館、學(xué)校、大學(xué)共同關(guān)心和支持希望小學(xué)。

　　 最后電視臺(tái)播放的公益廣告引起了全社會(huì)的廣泛關(guān)注，社會(huì)捐了很多錢，三只小豬捐的尤其多，建了三所希望小學(xué)，其中一所就以三只小豬命名，孩子們就再也不用去城里打工了。
