三只小豬學英語第44集：動物幼兒園開運動會

　　The first little pig has a kindergarten. This kindergarten is for animals only. In this kindergarten, there are a lot of animals. There are dogs, foxes,tigers, wolves, elephants, cats, pigs, sheep, chicken, deer, rabbits, lions, ducks, and monkeys. They are all very young. Some of them are six  months old,也就是說，they are half a year old. Some of them are twelve months old, 也就是說，they are one year old, some of them are eighteen months old, 也就是說，they are one and a half years old. They are very happy in this kindergarten.

　　第一只小豬有一幼兒園。這所幼兒園只招收動物們。幼兒園里有許多的動物，有狗，狐貍，老虎，狼，大象，貓，豬，羊，雞，鹿，兔，獅子和猴子。他們年齡都很小。他們當中有些只有六個月大，也就是說，他們只有半歲。有些只有12個月大，也就是說，一歲。有些是18個月大，也就是說，一歲半。他們在這所幼兒園里都很開心。

　　One day, the first little pig決定開一個animal kindergarten運動會。All the little animals 都積極參加這次運動會。They are all very happy,特別是little cat,little monkey, little duck, and little deer. They are very very happy. Little cat gets first prize for climbing trees, because he can climb up a tree very quickly. Little cat is Mr. Brown Cat's son.  Little monkey gets first prize for jumping, becaue he can jump very high. Little monkey is Dr. Monkey's son.

　　Little duck gets first prize for swimming, because he can swim very fast. Little deer gets first prize for running, because she can run very fast. Only one animal is not happy. He is little tiger. 運動會報名時，他看見little cat報了climb tree這個項目，自己也跟著報了名，he thinks,"I look like a cat. If the little cat can climb trees, I am sure I can climb trees too. " But,到了比賽時，他發(fā)現(xiàn)he cannot climb up a tree, but the little cat can climb up a tree very quickly,and he gets first prize. The little tiger is very angry,氣得他竟然cry起來。
　　這時，the first little pig comes. He asks, "Why do you cry, little tiger?" The little tiger一邊哭一邊說，“Because I cannot climb trees. I don't understand why I cannot climb trees. You see, I look like the little cat. He can climb trees. Why can't I climb trees? Can you tell me why.” The first little pig說，“Sorry, I don't know why you can't climb trees. Let's go and ask the second little pig. He is a doctor,也許he can tell you why.”說完，他就帶著little tiger一起go to the second little pig's hospital. They go into his office and tell him why the little tiger cries. The second little pig一聽就笑了，他說，“My dear tiger, don't cry. Don't be angry. Let me tell you a story. After you listen to this story, you will understand why you can't climb trees. Ok, please listen to me.”

　　一天，第一只小豬決定開一個動物幼兒園運動會。所有的動物都積極參加這次運動會。他們都很開心，特別是小貓，小猴子，小鴨和小鹿。小貓拿了爬樹第一名，因為他能很快爬上樹。小貓是棕色毛的兒子，小猴子拿了跳高第一名，因為他能跳得很高。小猴子是猴醫(yī)生的兒子。
　　小鴨子拿了游泳第一名，因為他能游得很快。小鹿拿了跑步第一名，因為她能跑得很快。只有一只小動物不開心，他就是小老虎。運動會報名時，他看見小貓報了爬樹這個項目，自己也跟著報了名，他想，我看起來像只貓，如果小貓會爬樹，那我肯定也會爬樹。但是，到了比賽，他發(fā)現(xiàn)他不會爬樹。小貓可以爬得很快，并且拿到了第一名。小老虎特別生氣，氣得他竟然哭了起來。
　　這時，第一只小豬走了過來，他問小老虎為什么哭。小老虎一邊哭一邊說，因為我不會爬樹，我不知道我為什么不會爬樹。你知道，我跟小貓看起來很像，他能爬樹，我為什么不能呢？第一只小豬說，“對不起，我不知道你為什么不會爬樹。讓我們去問下第二只小豬吧，他是醫(yī)生，也許他知道原因。”說完，他就帶著小老虎一起去第二只小豬的醫(yī)院。他們走進他的辦公室，跟他講了小老虎為什么哭。第二只小豬一聽就笑了，他說，“我親愛的小老虎，不要哭，也不要生氣，讓我來給你講一個故事。聽完這個故事，你就會明白你為什么不會爬樹了。好，請聽我講。”

　　于是，the second little pig starts to tell the story. 從前，there are a lot of animals. They are not very strong. They are not very fast. Only one animal is very strong and very fast. He is Mr. Cat. Mr. Cat is very clever and very strong. He can jump very high. He can run very fast. Mr. Cat is the king of all the animals. All the other animals are very slow and very silly. 他們都很羨慕Mr. Cat,都希望自己能像Mr. Cat那樣clever and strong. But,他們誰也不敢向Mr. Cat to ask him to teach them學本領，because他們害怕Mr. Cat. 萬一Mr. Cat is angry, he will kill them. One day, Mr. Fox has a good idea. 他對Mr. Tiger說，“Mr. Tiger, you look like Mr. Cat. I am sure your grandfather is Mr.Cat's grandfather. 所以說，you are his cousin. If you ask Mr. Cat to be your teacher, if you ask him to teach you how to run fast and how to jump high, I am sure he will be happy to teach you.” Mr. Tiger says, "Ok, 那我就去試一試。"說完，Mr. Tiger就去找Mr.Cat. After one hour, Mr. Tiger找到了Mr. Cat,他對Mr. Cat說，“Hello, Mr. Cat. I look like you. I am sure my grandfather is your grandfather. 這說明we are cousins. Please teach me how to run fast. Please teach me how to jump high. Please be my teacher, Ok? I want to be your student. I will be a good student. ”Mr. Cat說，“Ok, I will be your teacher. You must listen to me. ”Mr. Tiger連聲說，“Yes, yes.” 于是，Mr. Cat starts to teach Mr. Tiger how to run fast and how to jump high. Mr. Tiger學得非常認真，only after three days, he can run very fast just like Mr. Cat. And he can jump very high just like Mr. Cat. Mr.Tiger is very happy, 他對Mr. Cat說，“Mr. Cat, you are my good teacher, thank you.” But, 從那以后，Mr. Tiger就開始在樹林里橫行霸道起來，他經常欺負other animals.就連當初給你出好主意的little fox他都欺負。Mr. Fox對他說，“Mr. Tiger,不要以為you are very big, you are very strong,你就可以稱王稱霸了，別忘了，your teacher is stronger than you.請你不要太狂妄。 ”Mr. Tiger is very angry, 他說，“哼，my teacher有什么了不起的，I am bigger than my teacher. I am taller than my teacher, and I am stronger than my teacher. My teacher is very little.我憑什么怕他。Listen, one day, I'm going to kill Mr. Cat. Do you know I want to be
　　the king of all the animals?”

　　于是，第二只小豬就開始講故事了。從前，有許多的動物。他們不強壯，也跑不快。只有一只動物非常的強壯，跑起來也很快，他就是貓先生。貓非常聰明也非常強壯，他能跳得很高，跑得很快。貓是獸中之王。所有的動物都很遲鈍，愚笨，他們都很羨慕貓，都希望自己能像貓那樣聰明和強壯。但是，他們誰也不敢向貓先生去拜師學本領，因為他們害怕萬一貓生氣了，他就會把他們殺了。有一天，狐貍想到了一個好辦法，他對老虎說，“你看上去就像是只貓，我覺得貓的爺爺肯定也是你的爺爺，你是他的堂弟。如果你向貓拜師，他應該會很樂意來教你的。”老虎說，那好吧，我去試一試。說完，老虎就去找貓了。過了一個小時，他找到了貓，并對他說，“你好，貓。我看起來很像你，我的爺爺肯定就是你的爺爺。這說明我們是堂兄弟。請教我怎么跑得快，怎么跳得高，請做我的老師，好嗎？我想成為你的學生，我會成為一名很好的學生的。”貓說，好的，我可以成為你的老師，你必須聽我的。老虎連聲說，好的好的。于是，貓就開始教老虎怎么跑得快，怎么跳得高。老虎學得很認真，才過了是哪天，他就能像貓一樣跑得很快，像貓一樣跳得很高。老虎很高興，他對貓說，“你是一位好老師，謝謝。”但是，從那以后，老虎就開始在樹林里橫行霸道起來，他經常欺負其它動物，就連當初給你出好主意的小狐貍他都欺負。狐貍對他說，“老虎，你不要以為自己很強壯，你就可以稱王稱霸了，別忘了，你的老師比你強壯，請你不要太狂妄。”老虎很生氣，他說，“哼，我的老師有什么了不起的，我塊頭比他大，我比他高，我比他強壯。我的老師那么矮小，我憑什么怕他。聽著，總有一天我會殺了貓，我會成為百獸之王的。”

　　說完，老虎就回去了，他回去想了想，覺得自己肯定比貓強壯，他想殺死貓，自己當百獸之王。但是，他沒想到貓沒有把最后一招交給他，貓還沒有教給他如何爬樹，于是這就解釋了為什么老虎不會爬樹。
